Every Easter since I was a kid my mum has baked these cakes so its only seems right that I bake them now as well. Whether you’re looking for a quick & simple recipe to do with your children over the Easter holidays or you need something for visiting friends and family to tuck in to, these are always a good shout and look the part. Sorry for being a little quiet lately, its been so busy at work but I’m back with one of my new favourite recipes. I’ve always been a big fan of the zesty flavours lemon meringue so when I saw this recipe from John Whaite I had to try it out. Its a great example of how you can easily adapt and reimagine a classic recipe. This take on the classic consists of two lemon drizzle cakes sandwiched with lemon curd and Italian meringue.
Brownies are really quick and simple to make but the result is always so tasty and gooey. Here’s a classic chocolate brownie recipe with a little twist.
